Our Approach To Coaching
THE 4 PILLARS IDEOLOGY
Football has developed rapidly in recent years in England as many overseas coaches and players have arrived in the English Premier League bringing with them new coaching methods and playing styles. We now see many young talented English players being developed and the key to this has been modern coaching methods based on the 4 main pillars of football coaching, physical, psychological, technical and tactical (called 2P2T). It is imperative players are coached based on this philosophy from a young age so they learn all elements of the game if they are to develop to achieve their full potential.
Our modern 2P2T curriculum has been carefully designed to ensure this is the case and this is then the basis for all of our coaching ensuring the players really understand all elements of football and reach the highest standards possible.
USE OF STATE OF THE ART FOOTBALL TECHNOLOGY
Coaching is the foundation of success but it is important we see the players start to use their new found knowledge and skills in game situations. Sometimes we simply see it when watching the players but the improvements are not always obvious. Professional football clubs use performance analytics to provide statistical data of players development. This is sophisticated and complex and achieved by performance analytics experts using complex software. These state of the art solution are available at FBFA. We video the players in game situations and produce analytics reports and recommendation for coaches to use when assessing the players performance.
PATHWAYS TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS
There are a number of paths young players can follow to realize their dreams of a career in football. The obvious one is to be invited to join professional football clubs academy’s and develop through the ranks. We have direct relationships with a number of those clubs and their scouting systems. There are many other paths to careers in football including University scholarships in the USA or internships in Football organizations. We have direct links to a number of these organizations and can offer both advice and practical help on how to be selected for those opportunities.
